Is your partner on a very different sleep cycle from yours, due to either work or choice? Are you ships passing in the night?

My Ex wife was (besides her other professional grades) a locally known singer artist.
Her schedules were other than mine (and same our daughters´s ones).
But her sleep cycle was only a relatively minor symptom of other incompatibilities in our life choices.
Sadly, includding the not always concious value frame related to our social enviroment that shapes everyone attracction to others and so even love.

Enough to be noticeable...

IE: I like to get up fairly early and handle my East coast customers issues. I don't "sleep" well when she comes in and turns on the lights.... And even worse when the TV gets turned on too "because she needs the background noise to fall asleep."


I suggested several solutions only to be shot down.

Not really, he goes a bed a lot earlier than me and wakes up a lot earlier because of work, but it’s not completely different. We still interact throughout the day without either of us risking sleep or anything to talk to each other.
