I’ve never met a dog I didn’t like really. We had Bella the yellow lab because I had an acquaintance who bred them. She was great with the kids and an excellent guard dog and cancer showed us she was tough as nails and had an undefeatable spirit.
Next we got Kane. He’s a boxer who had been sold and returned for reasons we never saw evidence of. He is the most affectionate creature I’ve ever met. Thinks he’s a lapdog, purrs like a cat when he’s feeling the love, and is overall infectiously joyful and comical. More high energy than Bella but he’s your guy when you want a napping partner.
