If you like dogs...... what is your favorite breed ??

@cherokeepatti i grew up with poodles and german shepherds!

@morrgin I did too, both very intelligent but in different ways. Seemed like German shepherds each had a different type of self-taught talent. One was a snake-killer (we had a lot of copperheads and he would grab and shake to liquify them), one was a self-taught guard dog, another was a helper dog. The poodle was house-broke easily and learned to do all kinds of little tricks.

@cherokeepatti my poodle would spot the snakes and my german shepherd would go in for the kill.

@morrgin Working in tandem then. Our poodle had a poodle-neighbor friend in our rural area. who would in every nice weather day bring a rag or piece of rope...they’d play tug-of-war in the driveway till they got tired and then the neighbor’s poodle would pick up his rag or rope and trot back down the driveway and go home.

@morrgin It was a good 2 block walk, I guess that other poodle heard ours yapping and knew where to go to find her.
