Anyone Else Have To Pay For Your College?

I should graduate in May with Sociology degree (please do not laugh!) But outside of a little help here and there, I paid for everything or took out loans. My prospects for making a lot of money are not great but I might land a job with the state. Did you pay your own way?

My parents, although I also worked part-time for pocket and book money. One thing I’ve always been proud of was that, even though they would never have asked, I paid them back every penny. I don’t know how students manage nowadays. 😳

@JustinOnTheRoad Thank you. Like with others, we’re talking 40 years ago, when things were considerably less expensive. Very best to you. I would never laugh at a sociology degree. There are many careers where you won’t get rich but would make a great difference in others’ lives. I wish so much our country invested in our citizens by subsidizing education, as is done in other western nations.
