What Was Your Greatest Rejection?

I was a park ranger for two years in Oklahoma. I was terminated. But it was not for anything dishonorable. In fact, my supervisor still let me use him for a reference. I am much happier now, working in a successful restaurant. But it was tough for a while. What about you?

One time i applied for a job and i got an interview ans i was sure i was gonna get it but i didn’t wanna leave the work i was at, cause it wasn’t my ideal placement at the new place. Anyway, i préparéd a speech explaining why i wouldn’t be able to accept the new job, rehearses it and and stressed over it for a week. How silly i was gonna look turning down a job i applied for, interviewed for. They called me back and told me they didn’t really want me after all. i was so releived.

I have had several experiences that went belly up. I don't necessarily focus on the rejection but rather the lesson learned from it. Keep moving forward.

Hmm. My childhood in a Catholic school for girls. Unpleasant times with teachers and students.
