I see what you mean about probability; however, I think there's a bit of a difference between poker and the association with chance and gambling. Buying a lottery ticket or playing roulette is gambling with chance. Probability solely determines outcome.

Poker at a table with other players involves not just estimation of odds but a skilled reading of people and use of deception. So in my view poker is a more complex and skill dependent game.
