Chatting online is kinda iffy. All they have to do is run a local command prompt and type a special command and your ip address shows up on their screen. Risky.

@PrivatePeeks Next, they can trace that user using that IP address at an IP tracer service (like http://www.ip-adress.com/ip_tracer/). It will show all the information about that user along with the ISP and a location in the map. Now in the map they “click for big ip address location” in the large picture and actually zoom in and try to recognize the area. Furthermore, they can note down the ISP details and contact them about the IP. They will actually respond soon with an real life address.

@DudeistPriest they can get your ip address on a third party site like sw and you tube? your not using your email system which has your ip address imbedded with the email address. here would take all kinds of special programing to pass it through and only reason that would happen is if our government is ordering the sites to pass through the ip address. what is the command??
