Being polite, civil, and social can be tough
but without these traits we wouldnt be able to live in groups

If you are able not to be a reaction machine - that is not to take people's opinion personally.
We all trigger each other's life insecurities, this happens in long-term relationships, parents, wife/husband, children. We all trigger each, within the special ones. Either we heal together or they split, blame, point finger.
Most are nicer to strangers than family. (Family abuse )
Then here on SW, we can be nasty to those who post, as we don't see the face of those we can hurt.
