He's not getting his wall because the country can't afford it. Tell a spoiled child as often as you like. Until he learns that no means no(yeah yeah. I doubt he's heard it too often in life either !) nothing much is likely to change.
I mean he may even have had support for his idea ! But the SECOND he put honest, hard working folk OUT OF WORK, he lost the argument.
So. Who's gonna tell the spoiled brat he ain't getting his own way ?
@Nimbus I've known hard times in life, but nothing compares to the sheer political vacuum around the world right now. British MP's are about to be hung by their own constituents. Americans don't know fact from fiction and the EU limps on accumulating debt; migrants and political casualties from those falling out of love with the Franco/German ideal.
@Picklebobble2 The country can't afford it? Do we really need to go over how much it costs to NOT have a wall? Do we really need to list the truly stupid stuff that we are paying for? How do we even know what we can afford any way since there is no budget?
@Riverman And i'll say to you the same as i must have said to 50 people this past week. In the 243 years of independence America has had, NO PRESIDENT has EVER followed through with a threat of building a wall.
