Have you ever had an opinion of someone here on SW, then had it radically altered by one comment?

Yes.
Or not exactly by one comment that provided a preliminary red signal.
But other later comments converged on the same direction, once the first gave the warning.
Since then, I respect but ignore that someone consistently.
