Are you secretly desperately in love with me?

‘Cause any chance you swing by my place with a box of Kleenex balsam & a tub of vicks vaprub.

I mean I’ve no doubt this’ll test your affections. But suppose it’ll sort the men from the boys. 🤧🤒🤢

*coughs like a seventy-four year old man who’s smoked fifty a day for sixty years*

Attractive, huh? 😁

If we were neighbors I would stop by and try and help you feel better.
@JoyfulSilence home made chicken soup?
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
@SevenTierCrazyCake Do you have the ingredients?
@JoyfulSilence I do. I roasted a chicken last night.
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
@SevenTierCrazyCake I might eat it all, though!
@JoyfulSilence that’s a bit mean. Lol!
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
@SevenTierCrazyCake I guess I'll have to cook some more!
@JoyfulSilence maybe that’s not so bad.
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
@SevenTierCrazyCake You haven't sampled my cooking yet!

; )
@JoyfulSilence ooooh! Yay!
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
@SevenTierCrazyCake You might not like it, hee hee.

I rarely cook and have little skill.
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
@SevenTierCrazyCake I can learn. But it is easier to just go out to eat!
@JoyfulSilence you have to enjoy it. I do. 🙂

@SevenTierCrazyCake I like it sometimes. I just need a servant to clean up after!
@JoyfulSilence that would’nt hurt.

Or you could clean up as you go. Lol!

@SevenTierCrazyCake But that grease and carbonation is so hard to get off.
@JoyfulSilence tinfoil? Though that’s possibly naughty.
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
@SevenTierCrazyCake Maybe that is the solution.

My latest solution is to just buy new pans. I still haven't tossed the old ones yet, though.
@JoyfulSilence you can get the tinfoil ones in a multipack
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
@SevenTierCrazyCake I have some, but rarely use it. It is probably like 10 years old!
@JoyfulSilence bit of a hoarder?
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
@SevenTierCrazyCake No. I just never use it.

But I do keep things past their prime, I confess. I just do not like to throw something away if it is still useful. I guess it goes back to a time when I had little money, like in school, and early in my career. Also, my parents never had much money to spend, either.

Yet when some space gets cluttered, or I have too much of a thing, then I act. But I prefer donating the surplus or the old items to charity instead of tossing them, if I can. For example, I lost weight almost a decade ago and had all these good clothes that were too large, so gave them to charity. Also, I had old plates and mugs I never liked (yet kept because they were a gift from my mom and functional, yet bulky). I finally wanted to upgrade so I got new lighter, nicer plates, and gave the old ones to charity. I told my mom and she did not care. She could not even remember them! But carbonized pans I will toss! LOL!
@JoyfulSilence I cleaned my whole house out about seven yard ago now & gave nearly everything the Vets for pets. I’m quite minimalist

@SevenTierCrazyCake Easier for when you have to move.
@JoyfulSilence very much so.
