Have you ever had someone pass away (maybe a parent) that left a ton of work for you to tidy up for years after?

They SHOULD have had their ducks in a row. They COULD have, but neglected to do it?

My parents prepared themselves and it makes me tear up just thinking about it.

For several years, they would stack items on a table in the basement. The rule was... if we didn’t take anything from it then... it would be donated by the time we returned.

My mom also made a binder of their important documents and finances.

I wish she would have spent more time living than preparing to go.
