When it comes to opening bottles of Champagne or Spumante do you take cover scared of being hit by the cork ? I'll read the hundreds of replies...

I do that thing of twisting the bottle rather than the cork, so the cork stays in my hand and the bottle recoils slightly. Much less fun, but no black eyes for people!
