Oh I was lucky.
My generation got the Disney movies of the 60's and '70's.
So that's stuff like....The Aristocats or The sword in the stone or Robin Hood (the animated animal version)
Two movies I absolutely loved were Escape to witch mountain. With a really scary partnership of Bette Davis and Christopher Lee !! And Return to witch mountain that followed.
Even Saturday morning pictures were good then.
10p admission at the cinema and then you got a couple of hours of serials for youngsters !
Lots of stuff from The Children's Film Foundation that used to run a serialised story each week.
One weird one that sticks in the memory was the story of (seriously. I'm not making this up) A shrunken head ! That came to life !
Chico the rain maker, was the theme song this thing would sing every week !
I'm going to have to look this up now !

@ImpeccablyImperfect
The series chronicles the adventures of a professional lumber salvager and his friends in British Columbia, Canada as they try to live their lives while preventing the local pest, Relic, from ruining it
