I had a serious friend once. People would always say, "Dude! Your friend is really serious." One day he said, "Hey buddy. I'm going to disappear off the face of the earth and you'll probably never talk to me again. No hard feelings." At first I thought he was just kidding, but it suddenly dawned on me. "Wow", I thought to myself, "This dude is serious.".
@AlwaysDazed It's not a tragic thing really. He just had to grow up, get married, have kids, and climb the corporate ladder, and I had to drift shiftlessly through life and perish in drunken poverty and self inflicted sickness. 😁
