Mine is Shane. I was named after the movie, with Alan Ladd. I hate my name but I do not hate myself.

There's an English comedian who was named after Alan Ladd because his mother had a big crush on him. His dad was always a bit jealous and kept picking at Alan Ladd's lack of height. Whenever he appeared in a film standing next to a woman and it looked they they were the same height, he'd say, "She's standing in a hole".
