I think most of the attacks on our happiness comes from media and popular culture these days. Makes people compare their lot and lifestyle to those in the movies or videos....quickest way to be miserable is to start comparing vs. being grateful for what we already have.

@cherokeepatti that can be true but for me its a litteral attack that makes no sense to me. Like I could be reading my bible than out of the blue theres a thought of keanu reeves confessing his undying love for me or princess diana with baby william. It makes no sense and it usually happens when I read my bible. Im not mental or anything, Im just trying to find out how to stop this and concentrate.

@lightshinesthroughdarkness I have no idea what's going on there. Keep your electronics away from you when you are reading. If you are reading an online Bible switch to a paper one.
