whats the point of

what is the point of these cheap things that don't help much, like the suction cup things that attach to your phone to be able to hold your phone better? i was at a gift shop type store and the sold a "pet rock". whats the point of that?

I think the phone holder is a total joke as well. The pet rock at least has some history and humor to it.

@SW-User yea I see the humor. it shows how bad most society these days have to buy things even if they do not use them. its sad, I wouldn't waste my money on things like that but its sad that there is an industry like this and there are people that would buy this. I like painting rocks, i used to as a kid.

@SW-User yes everyone's right, im just pointing out that its sad to see people buying things like that. Im not saying i wouldnt allow them I think its better to want to buy something more useful like encourage people to think more before they buy things.

@Girlyfriendcollecting I understand where you are coming from. I guess we are just a species of consumers. I know I can be quite the compulsive buyer..I'm sure I've bought plenty of bullshit in my life that would be right on track with a pet rock, lol.
