Detachment .... some ways to achieve it is to observe how the seen is different from the one who sees. A little bit of eastern thought may help, Buddhism, Taoism .... keep yourself from reacting to what would normally cause you to react, the good and the not so good, see progress as narrow and straight, concentrate on the nothingness of phenomena, dwell in a mindset that hovers permanently between identifiable states, more and more one is where one dwells, indefinable, useless to attempt to describe, a deep gladness when the hitherto effort on something futile is abandoned, a gladness which doesn't explode into silly examples of enthusiasm, within a chaos, but quiet and orderly, a paradox - the state of no order, and the state of being able to have order if one merely continues in the way they are at the present moment.

@SW-User Good advice.

I used to follow Buddhism and practised meditation so understand that.
