"Bringing home the bacon" to be banned?

Apparently and old turn of phrase "Bringing home the bacon" is to be banned to avoid offending Vegans and replaced with vegan animal friendly alternatives?

Vegans - are there any vegans that are actually offended by these phrases? i doubt it.

total BS that pretty much anyone would ignore. i love bacon. Forcing me to use the alternative phrase Bring home the Bagels as suggested will offend me. simply for restricting my speech.

Well, [b]that’s[/b] rather ridiculous. I doubt most vegans seriously give it a second thought. And I’m pretty certain animals couldn’t care less.
