And yet our life span is longer than generations before us. Hmmmm.
@hippyjoe1955 Life expectancy is falling. I think that may be due to suicide and overdose rates though.

@AcidBurn Yes I believe the drugs and pointlessness of urban living are in large part the cause of our present drop in life expectancy.

@hippyjoe1955 @hippyjoe1955 i doubt we live longer. In biblical times people lived longest. Now 51 seems like good luck

@lightshinesthroughdarkness Look at present life spans and compare them to the last 4 generations.

@hippyjoe1955 Medical care has pushed down infant mortality and injury survival rates to push life expectancy up.

@whowasthatmaskedman Yes. However the point is that our food is not poison as the original poster stated.

@hippyjoe1955 more food means a beter chance of survival. Not always a better quality of life since hospitals are filled and obesity is widespread

@hippyjoe1955 And my point is that you cant use life span to back that statement. You have to find another metric to use.

@lightshinesthroughdarkness Which is not caused by food. It is caused by too much intake and not enough output.
