Starting to think moving in with my girlfriend wasn't the best idea

We've been together for 1 year, and we figured it would be cheaper for us to just share a place so I went along with it. Signing a 6-month lease. There are just a few things that getting kind of annoying. She wakes me up on the weekends at 7:00 am to do stuff like, move my car so she can get out (because we have to double park in one space) Instead of asking me to do these things the night before. It's irritating because I wake up all week at 5:00 am for work during the week and I want to sleep in until 9 or 10am on the weekends. She blames it on there not being blinds in our room, but I don't get to wake up in the morning and go back to sleep midday during the week like she does. I work 12 shifts every day on a stressful job. My sleep is very important to me.

If that is the only reason why you don't want to live together anymore...I would advise you to never make the first reason to live together to be to save money. Living together is a commitment. It is a trial period to see if being together is the precursor to marriage. Talk to her about this annoyance. Working 12 hours a day is horrendous and, yes, sleep is crucial. Talk first. Don't automatically say you want to throw this arrangement out the window. And buy some blinds too. Cheap solution.

So if you know she's going to wake you up at 7:00 every weekend why don't you move the car the night before on your own? Or tell her she can take your keys and do it herself. That's simple communication, a kid could easily do it.

@HannibalAteMeOutYeah duh, she said she wasn't going anywhere in the morning the night before. That's common sense to move the car the night before IF I KNEW SHE WAS LEAVING I WOULD'VE DONE THAT. Thanks!
