I wouldn't give a flying saucer what gender the joke was about as long as its funny😜

I don’t believe in degrading men or women. But let’s face it, sometimes the jokes (about both) are funny,

You're not wrong, the tide has certainly turned on that one and has reached a new level of idiocy - people love to take offense. But i suppose that's the nature of things, paradigms shift and will no doubt do so again. Everyone probably ends up on the giving/receiving end at some point,

I do, and you're right. But for a long time before you, it was the other way. I have hope everybody will stop eventually.

Well. We've had 50 years of 'equality' but clearly some reserve the right to define their own interpretation of what that means.

@Mamapolo2016 Well because most Western nations adopted equal parity under the law via things like the sex discrimination act in the UK passed in 1964.
Making it illegal to discriminate for work or pay or housing etc based on the sex of the person applying for it.

I'll get back to you later, but meanwhile, globally, about 1/3 of nations still don't have laws on the books about marital rape, for instance. I think I'm accurate in saying France didn't have law about rape, plain and simple, until 1983. A lot of countries (not Western) still don't.. They're still wrestling about age of consent. In 1974, 44 years ago, when I inquired why the man who was doing the same job I was, but I was literally doing double the work, was getting paid significantly more. I was told, "because he has a family to support and you don't."
Six years later I was offered a position as the first woman in management, but first I was asked by the EXEC VP if my husband had given me permission. That may not have been illegal but it sure wasn't equal. The case against Bill Cosby showed how rape allegations were handled by law enforcement and the legal system. You don't have to comvict, but you have to investigate.
In short, if I can have actual parity, you can have legal parity. @Picklebobble2

@Mamapolo2016 If certain nations DON'T have equal parity, you have to ask WHY that is.
Whom does it suit in order to SPECIFICALLY deny equal rights and fair treatment ?
WHY in this day and age, are they still ALLOWED to get away with it ?

“What’s the difference between a Girl and a Woman?
A girl will wait until she’s a woman to bring allegations to the light.“
Too soon or there will never be time for this?
