What’s new? There are shootings 24/7 here in Chicago. You’d think our government or at least our state would bother to do something about it. But no, all you hear in the news now a days is “shootings” “dead” etc. People are fucking insane.

I get what you mean. I know we should never accept the unacceptable as normal, but here, it’s become a daily issue, when you turn on a tv and you see it, as bad as it is, you can’t help but shake your head and think “Again?”

@bijouxbroussard I just don't get it. I cannot believe how many apathetic posts there are here claiming that it's not that big of a deal because it happened in Chicago. It is ALWAYS a big deal when innocent people are murdered. Always.

We never said life’s don’t matter, everyone lives matter and no one deserves to die in the hands of gun, but like I said, we’ve gotten used to it happening, not gotten used to the idea of it being “normal”
