If your birthday was August 23rd, would you say you were a Leo or a Virgo?

I've always said I'm a Virgo (my birthday is August 23rd) but one of my astrology books lists Gene Kelly under "famous Leos", even though Gene Kelly's birthday was also August 23rd. If I'd written the book I'd have listed Gene Kelly under famous Virgos. Wouldn't you?

@HeadGirl The fact is i never follow astrology charts but recall that the symbol was two fish in a balanced relationship; so it seemed a nice ideal.
August 23d is the first day of Virgo on the chart i just consulted so You are right, HeadGirl.
