If something bad happened to you during the day, how do you forget about it so you can sleep/relax?

I would talk it out. I would say to myself that it is just one moment in a long day. It is only temporary. I would do something to unwind. Hike. Walk. Yoga. Talk to a friend. Play music loudly. Sing. Drink hot milk before bed. Count my blessings. Bad times don't last.
