I wrecked 7 cars in 1 month drinking and driving ,,but my family was the local law ,,so a ride home ,come get the car or truck when I was sober
In 1976 I hit a pine tree running 45 ,,,I almost killed my wife
That got my attention
I was known for out running cops and out driving them
A road in my hometown few take it at 60 -70 ,,a orange grove on one side
Swamp on the other ,,,,I can drunk off my but go it at 100 mph
My uncle was pissed at all the cars that hit the swamp
Back then they had to actually see you ,,line of sight could not be broken
So once they lost sight of me ,they gave up ,,,
But no one was around when I hit that tree ,,,,
I had to literally break into someones house and scream "I need help "
