I thought as a film it was perfect .. Just the right mix of personal life, band life and music ... Freddie came across as a super nice guy in the end, and you're right about the actor, definitely deserves an Oscar... He was channeling free Freddie to a tee!

Brilliant film best I have seen for a while.

There is a bit of artistic license used for effect, got to expect that. Very good though.
NorthernRoses · 26-30, F
I had to watch it, because the guy playing Freddie is one of my fave actors. Rami Malek was honestly the best choice they could've made 💕
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
I did..I think it's one of the best movies I've seen in years... Not one area where I could fault it!
Blondgrl2004 · 31-35, F
what was truly amazing was the way they got the audience involved in their concerts.
I saw it. It was okay. I really wasn't expecting much once I heard that the surviving band members were basically going to sugar-coat their story and put their legend over their truth. But it wasn't bad.

@Existentially Where did you hear that?
@midnightrose Reports during the film’s production.

Not yet but when I get paid I plan on watching it. Growing up, my mom had a wooden 8-track player so I would listen to a lot of Queen. I loved him so much as a kid, I know when I’m in the theater I’m gonna be crying.
TexChik · F
He played on twighlight ( the last two) as the vampire that could control the elements.
Blondgrl2004 · 31-35, F
@TexChik I think he was Mr Robot the series also
UniGirl19 · 26-30, F
Yeah pretty entertaining but historically dodgy according to reviews. The musical set pieces are great
Gangstress · 41-45, F
Im sceptical about hollywoods portrayal of him
Blondgrl2004 · 31-35, F
@Gangstress I really don't know how much of it was true, he did die of Aids which was unfortunate. I just meant he was so good in it with his actions and all that while singing
midnightrose · F
@Gangstress Brian May and Roger Taylor are co-producers.
ravi557 · 31-35, M
@Blondgrl2004 true he died with aids
MrAverage1965 · 61-69, M

I saw it. He did a really good job reenacting the Live Aid concert.
SINAI · T
Are they just giving away Oscars like it's Oprah?
Blondgrl2004 · 31-35, F
