There are times when we all need help, and in those instances it is not good to be alone. However, there are some relationships that are so toxic that you are far better off being alone.

Realistic me know I'm far too social to be alone. I would turn all weird, depressed and ....I'd be a crazy cat lady without the cats.

@Bootsiebaby Well, it's just unrealistic. Maybe if people infer "alone" as no romantic partner - I could kind of see that. But between family, friends, and romantic interests people are really not feasibly alone. And those who are, are seldom happy.

I think when people say "they're better off alone" it's more of an edgy phrase that people say to show their general pessimistic perception of reality. 🤔
