Who else battles asthma here?

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSSoYmQS6Ng]

I'm really having a hard time with this asthma flare up. I'm exhausted my mood is beyond low. I can't even describe it. My chest feels like its being stabbed most of the time and I can't seem to come to terms with how I ended up in this situation except blame it on my usless GP's and ER medical team who downplayed asthma until it escalated to this.

Dr, House reminds me of my previous specialist. He'd probably have decapitated me French Revolution style by now for listening to the insanity of my GP's telling me to not use inhalers any longer if I'm fine. .....馃憖

I have asthma but its well controlled with a daily steroid inhaler ...but I use it every other day
SW-User
@SW-User Yeah, I'm told to always use it and only consult for a change in medication/side effects with my original Specialist.

@SW-User I am able to use it every other day ,thankfully

@SW-User I should have never listened to them and kept with the same treatment.

Get a second opinion @SW-User

@SW-User Did already. After the major screw up in the ER three times in a row, appointments that took forever among others I saw a specialist last Thursday. He put me on fluticasone 250 two puffs twice a day. It's slightly better since. I also use Bricanyl for rescue inhaler. However I had persistent cough and chest pains so I visited my GP who gave me a short course of predisone at 20mg and a solution to reduce mucus. I still have difficulty over exerting and getting worked up. But I'm much better at a rested stage. Definitely if I don't improve any time soon, I'll consult again. No excuses.

@SW-User sounds like you could benefit from a steroid inhaler
SW-User
@SW-User I don't know. I'd have to ask my specialist again for that.
