Would you ever try peyote? Have you ever tried it?

I haven't, but I would have when I was younger. I loved hallucinogens!

No I have never tried it. I know a couple of people who did try it. One a Kiowa-Apache at a Native American peyote church in Oklahoma. It is supposed to be very effective in helping Natives get off of alcohol, but they also have a strong spiritual component to their rituals so it's not like sitting around trying to get high. There have been research studies with it and it seems to be effective for narcotic abuse and alcohol abuse withdrawal.
