@AmbivalentFriability Who’s more assertive?
@1455spd Men. Though I feel it boils down to Nurture, not so much nature. I could be wrong.

@AmbivalentFriability That’s weird. I would’ve argued the opposite. I guess it depends on traditional vs non traditional upbringing too
@1455spd You find women more assertive, or you think it's more nature than nurture?

@AmbivalentFriability It’s always a mix, but I find women at my job complain a lot more expecting you to appease them.

I don’t think either nature or nurture tip the scale when it comes to assertiveness. I think there’s a situational component to assertiveness that may split the genders into rough segments. I’m not sure. It’s just not been my experience
@1455spd I guess I wouldn't really consider complaining assertiveness.
It's likely in how I view it.
Assertiveness is a strength to me, and complaining and waiting to be appeased seems like weakness.

@AmbivalentFriability I dunno. I see assertiveness as something to use in limited circumstances. Like at work when I need somebody to do something that I don't have time for.

Otherwise it just feels like people presume that the world owes them something and they don't care who they step on to get it
