Why would a job application ask about food stamps ?

Cause there's a program called welfare to work. They get a tax break for hiring people on it

Maybe for a tax break. In some cases, business owners are given tax incentives when they hire people who have been on government assistance. It doesn't seen right to me for it to be on the application itself, though.

That is so stupid. Pretty soon youll have to be on food stamps to get a job at Walmart.
