I love classic muscle cars, there's nothing better than an old school V8.

@basilfawlty89 a new school V16
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@Mistakesmakeus V16 engines are rarely used in automobiles because V8s or V12s of the same displacement typically produce just as much power and are much less expensive to manufacture and maintain. The few V16s that have been produced were used in high-end luxury and high-performance automobiles due to their smoothness (low vibration).

@basilfawlty89 I love v8s too
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@AliyaL You have good taste :D
Mistakesmakeus · M
@basilfawlty89 making it superior to V8's
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@Mistakesmakeus Not entirely true, as I said, look at the displacement.
Mistakesmakeus · M
@basilfawlty89 lower vibrations and slightly higher displacement makes it superior to it
AliyaL · 22-25, F
@basilfawlty89 no replacement for displacement
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@AliyaL right?
AliyaL · 22-25, F
@basilfawlty89 when they took the twin turbo v6 to replace the 6.2 v8 in the raptor I almost threw up, why didn't they just put a roushe supercharger on the 6.2 idc about gas mileage
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@AliyaL Indeed, specially if they used the right supercharger. Fortunately V8s aren't totally out of use, lots of Mustangs and so on still have them. But it is sad to see so many companies opting out of V8.

Dodge knows what's up though, the demon is awesome
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@AliyaL Yeah, I love it way more than their new charger, the look of the new charger puts me off a bit.
Mistakesmakeus · M
@AliyaL there was a secret Dodge motor no one talks about.. that thing must've been an engine of the GODS. Essentially when the engines failed emissions they were ordered a mass recall and destruction of all motors. Normally they just remove all the oil and let it run dry till it's dead but this engine... This engine refused to die. We had to remove the oil, coolant, air, add massive gas, and it still refused to die!
