What is your weakness?

[c=#003BB2]Although, I overthink in general, my recent breathing "asthma" issues give me anxiety and panic attacks if I'm too aware of myself and my fears. What are yours? [/c]

@SW-User I'm sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better soon. Try and eat as healthy as you can stomach ulcers aren't any good.

@SW-User I’ve had to cut back on a lot of things that were bad for it, and I’m on a serious detoxing diet, I started it this week and Ian seeing slight difference. Also aloe Vera straight fro the leaf mixed with water is a good natural medicine for it.

@SW-User That's good. Try and keep it up. I know it's not easy with all the "temptations" around today but I quit bad food and habits physically I'm definitely much healthier, but...the asthma and stuff set me back a lot too. Kind of unfair but I'll win the war. I have to. I use a lot of herbal and natural stuff too. I can almost swear by them. Only natural thing I'm not taking are inhalers currently.

@SW-User I will, it took a big change in my life to motivate me. When in a depressing environment you can lose track of looking after yourself until it affects you mentally, the gut works with the brain too, which I found hard to believe at first but I can feel that difference too, along with slow and gradual healing process. My habits were not eating till I was really really hungry and just only ate as a chore and I didn’t care what I was eating, and just fuelled on coffee and energy drinks and water, now replace energy drinks with kombutcha. and gradually cut down on coffee and now will only eat clean because I got my sense of taste and smell back that I lost too.

Athsma can be a terrible thing to go through does high pollen affect your athsma at all?
SW-User
@SW-User I'm glad you got back on track slowly :) Yeah I heard that the gut and mind are related and want to do more research into it somehow since my tests in the ER and others came back all positive. Which is baffling to say the least. Sure I had a stressful summer but I don't think it should affect me so badly. I remember having a similar crisis a few yeas ago. Maybe I just need to change treatment who knows...in fact I'm going to see a specialist soon.

Humidity and things like that affect me the most. Change of weather does that too. Strong smells annoy me, and even cigarettes do the same crappy thing to me. I'll find a way out. It's just difficult until you find it I suppose.

Reason I asked because we had one unexplainable thinderstorm that affected a lot of athsmatics, it was quite concerning, I haven’t heard of it happen anywhere else, we never had a repeated one, but had warnings of possible future ones, but for it to happen just once, it’s scary shit. I also quit cigarettes over a year ago, replaced it with e cig, that apparantley has a similar ingredient that shares your ventalin but some sources say it’s just as bad as smoking but my lungs have felt a lot better from not smoking, that also helps with my sugar cravings too, because of the flavours and they do smell a lot better than tobacco smoke. Hope you never go through one of these storms though but I heard it only happened here so far in the world.

Wow I didn't know thunderstorms could affect asthmatics to be honest. Must be scary as heck O.O I have a scary thunderbolt experience. It's difficult to forget, more about the reaction I had to it though rather than sheer luck. If you value breathing take my advice, and don't smoke at all. People can never understand the "pain" of breathing like it's through a straw until you actually feel that way and it's super nasty. But you did the good thing in quitting the smoking. I rarely smoked save for a short while in my teen years. But with all my pulmonary issues I had to quit for my well being so it did't last long.
