That's awesome. I have two of them. They do take a little bit to get used to. I thought mine was incredibly heavy at first and I didn't like that but that was only the first time or two I used it. You quickly get used to it and it begins to feel like a gentle hug.

@rokrchik1211 Do you know how much the one you have weighs? Some have different weights.

I have a 12 pound one on my bed so I can use other blankets and a 16 pound one for severe anxiety. When you go to buy one they have a chart and the weight of the blanket should be 8-10% of your body weight @Bleed

@rokrchik1211 Which brand do you have? Are they soft to the touch too or are they ones that have covers?

I got mine from mosaic weighted blankets. They are not super soft to the touch. The blanket has pockets sewn into it with little beads inside those pockets to weight it. The material is light so you don't get hot while under it. They do have some that have covers on them and some with softer materials but they will make the blanket warmer. The material isn't hard it just doesn't have the softness of a fleece blanket. Sometimes what I do if it's cold out is put a fleece blanket on me and then put the weighted blanket on on top of me. @Bleed

Thanks. I’m in the UK so the blanket being warm is less of an issue.
