I thinking about volunteering for Hospice one day a week. Thoughts?

I'm thinking about volunteering to work for Hospice one day a week. They were there for me during both my parents illnesses. Do you think it will makee depressed, or feel like I'm giving back?

It would be a great thing to give back but.... it will be depressing , especially during Christmas.
