I thinking about volunteering for Hospice one day a week. Thoughts?

I'm thinking about volunteering to work for Hospice one day a week. They were there for me during both my parents illnesses. Do you think it will makee depressed, or feel like I'm giving back?

If you can without being triggered, having gone through it I know you know how much families and the dying appreciate hospice workers.

Personally, cancer deaths trigger me too much, I can barely manage my depression as it is.

Bless you for even considering this.

@Starcrossed Thank you. I felt very honored to be able to be right there beside both my parents when they took there last breath. The capacity I would like to give back, is to stay with the patient while the family members take a break to go get their hair done and go out to lunch etc. Just to take a breather from being a caregiver.
So you just go in and tell them you’d like to volunteer to do as you’ve mentioned above? @Mbingh01

@LadyGrace Not sure yet. But I'm going to be making some calls.
I’d be interested in hearing what you find out, please. @Mbingh01

Sure thing. Add me to your friends list. When I find out I will be happy to let you know.
Thank you. I was thinking of adding you, anyway. @Mbingh01
