What is good with having pride or what positive things has it done to you?

People don't get to say i owe them anything because i'd rather struggle than ask for help/favors lol.

Taking pride in your work, or abilities, inspires you to maintain and/or improve them further, so as not to let people down (yourself included).

Well using it on my job's gets me more work and lifetime customers in the Home Improvement game

It makes one go in MAXOVERDRIVE and achieve that STUBBORN GOAL!!!!!

It tends to make me put forth more of an effort in things

Pride have got a bad name.
But you own what you earned, that pride.
It builds you.

Keeps your head up when you get negative feedback. Having a *touch* of ego is important when *you* believe in something, but nobody else does.
