@Mardrae I have been diabetic for 12 years now. Can be a pain sometimes needing the loo when your out or in bed

@nevergiveup yes, it’s very much a pain! I can’t remember the last time I got a full night’s sleep. And my bloody sugar drops in the early morning hours, like around 2 or 3 am, so I never know how much insulin to give before going to bed because then my blood sugar drops way too much and I have to eat a ton of sugar to correct it. Can’t win either way.
@Mardrae I know when my sugar drops i feel strange. I worry that i may not wake up if it goes down to low. I just did a test for a new device that sends info to an app on the phone. It warns when your sugar is up or down. They want £50 a month for it

@nevergiveup do you have an insulin pump? It does the same thing
@Mardrae No i do injections
Mardrae · F
@nevergiveup I have to do the pump because I have bad reactions to long acting insulin.
@Mardrae mine is a slow acting so one in the morning and another before bed. also loads of tablets
