#metoo now allows for no reasonable doubt?

It doesn’t matter which end of the political spectrum you’re on, peoples reaction to Ford’s accusations are insane. All these tweets, “I believe you!” Maybe it happened, but apparently now there is no due process? What “if” it didn’t happen. By screaming that they believe her, they are calling Kavanaugh guilty with her word and only her word to go on. It’s insane. If the shoe were in the other foot and this was a conservative activist saying the exact same thing about a liberal nominee; there’s no way these same women would be so eager to jump on her side. They may say something reasonable like, “We’ll have to wait and see where the evidence leads. The timing seems a little suspicious.” By the precedent ,from this point on, it only takes one woman to step up at any point and accuse someone of a crime and they can delay or derail an entire governmental process in a way that could benefit their personal political view? I’m all for #metoo, but how about #rightnow, not when it’s most beneficial to you?

As far as Kavanaugh goes she took a polygraph test (lie detector) it determined she was telling the truth.

We should have him take a polygraph test too- to clear his name, they should also make anyone of the appointees being questioned also do those interviews while connected to a polygraph test...

I remember there being no qualms with the republicans when they derailed Obama’s Supreme Court nominee vote.

@MrK007 maybe he’s not a rapist. However we can’t appoint someone to a lifetime Supreme Court seat if there is a slight possibility he is morally corrupt.

Have you even seen the questioning they’ve done? He has clear memory and detail for everything except when he was asked if he has spoken to anyone from the trump campaign or his lawyers offices regarding the ongoing investigation.

Everything else he answered with great detail but this question he danced around for a good while.

@KaysHealingPath IMO everyone is or has been morally corrupt at some point in their lives. If he did speak to someone about the investigation, or if they had spoken to him, it wouldn’t imply improper behavior, but it would be smart to forget the conversation.

@MrK007 not if you’re lying under oath about it.
The question was asked in a manner which indicated that there was already information regarding such conversations.

#metoo - that's literally "pound me too". Who thought that was a good idea in the first place?

😮😂 That’s just wrong, but really funny. @Dan193
