the one that got away?

I've always been good at talking to girls but there was this one girl that I would always freeze up with and couldn't think straight when I was around her. I ended up focusing on making jokes so I could hear her laugh but never asked her out. Ended up being asked out by her best friend and she sorta faded out of my life after a few months. So I dated her best friend instead because I was 17 and 'excited' most of the time. That dream girls gone now though. She's probably not the same person I once knew so there's no point in going after that person.

any one have someone that slipped through their fingers but stuck to the back of their mind???
