Is this a good idea?

Putting an electric fence around your yard if you live across the street from a school? A man in Virginia did that.

Yes, it won't kill but it'll keep off unwanted visitors. I have an elctric fence in my yard (garden) it's to keep the pony in but if anybody gets zapped they shouldn't have been there.
