Is this a good idea?

Putting an electric fence around your yard if you live across the street from a school? A man in Virginia did that.

I saw that on the news. You would think if he didn’t want kids to step foot in his yard he wouldn’t have bought a house so close to a school.

@HeavenBesideYou That would be a good idea.

I think the main gripe is that the fence goes all the way to the sidewalk and he didn’t put up any warning signs. Still...@cherokeepatti

@HeavenBesideYou My neighbor in the country put up an electric fence to keep his pigs from getting out. I saw bird claws hanging on it with the dead bird on the ground. I hated them since.

Aww. Poor birds. 😔@cherokeepatti

@cherokeepatti wait a minute...electricity doesn't work like that! You have to be touching the floor to get a shock.

@GeniUs they died on that fence. I saw the claws around it and the legs burned through.

They don't work like that, you must've seen birds sit on overhead cables, they don't get electrocuted either. You have to touch 2 points with different voltages, one usually being the floor. I don't know how the birds could've been killed on the fence you saw.

@GeniUs No it was an electric fence, there was no overhead cable anywhere near
