On SW, is being blocked by someone a rite of passage?

I've read some questions on their time being blocked, and I answered I've never been blocked.

Well today that's changed. Someone didn't like basic business facts on a subject and for some reason, Mr. Tough Guy blocked me.

To be honest, I'm just trying to get used to asking a question and testing a new feature out that I've barely used and trying to become more comfortable with it.

@Viper no. Not at all, not you per say, it is something that's regularly moaned about, people generally don't or won't accept that people have the right to block without explanation if they want to,

I have seen more moaning and complaining about this subject in the last 7 years than any other topic.
