Do you wash the bottom of your feet?

I mean like actually scrub them with a washcloth or sponge or bar of soap, or do you just let soapy water run across them? I've heard of people doing both, and of reasons for not washing them like you could slip and fall and you could kill the good bacteria if you scrub too hard and then your feet will smell bad.
