Favorite sports or instruments to play?

When you were a kid what was your favorite sport or music lesson that your parents put you into? I’ve got my kids in soccer and piano because those are the things I did but I wonder if they would like other things more.

I wasn’t allowed in either because they said it’d cost too much money (no matter the sport, you’d need new shoes. Can’t afford it).
In PE, though, I liked hockey and badminton.
