In Greece we don’t say ‘shut up’, we say ‘σκάσε’ (skase) which translates to explode,
as in literally blow up your whole body so that I won't have to listen to you talking and I think that's beautiful

@MartinTheFirst we use it as shut up, metaphorically! Actually that's how shut up is translated in greek. I don't know who first thought of using the verb "explode" in order to say to someone to shut up, I'll have to search it cause thinking about it, it's quite interesting.

@MartinTheFirst well we also say "βούλωσέ το" (voulosé to) which means "clog it up [your mouth]" but idk why skase. 🤷🏻
