I have a cigarette in my hand now... but I don't smoke! I just like the scent, and the memory of the ritual, as I was hooked on second-hand smoke since 6 years old. I rarely light up, and when I do, I only smell it. It's an odd habit, but when someone smokes and apologizes for the scent, I ask them to come closer already, lol! So sad. It smells better in the way coffee does... but then, I drink espresso! @SW-User

@KayraJordyn My mom smoked until she was told she had COPD.

I’m glad it’s been nearly eradicated in public in the US.

I don’t miss it one bit.

That's good! My connection started with my best friend across the street, whose mother and stepdad chain smoked. It's good you don't miss it! How is your mother now? 😞 @SW-User

@KayraJordyn after about five years, she went on Oxygen full time.

She passed roughly five years after that.
