FASTING

During my Chemotheraphy sessions I fasted ... no food just liquid ... I chose to do this myself after reading a report on it . All the Doctors and Nurses told me I would lose my hair ..... after six bags of poison over a six month period I did not lose a single hair .
Has anyone on here fasted ? And for what reason ?
